CBMR, a center for multidisciplinary research aims to create opportunities for extraordinarily talented scientists to research at the frontiers of the interface of chemical, biological, medical sciences, and NMR spectroscopy. The center will focus research on interfacing small molecule synthesis with biology for developing future medicine and therapies. It would endeavor to invent efficient ways to deliver drugs to their targets, probe cellular reactions in intact biological systems with small molecules and establish new high throughput technologies for the synthesis of structurally diverse structures and their bio-screening. CBMR also aims to reach out to universities, research institutions, and industrial organizations with periodic continuing-education programs for proper utilization of the national resources.
